Ami Owlet

“I” hook, WW yarn (2 colors), 2 small buttons

Body: [Main color] Do not join, this is amigurumi style (spiral)
1. Make a 5-Sc ring in preferred method. (5)
2. 2Sc into each st around. (10)
3. [Sc, 2Sc] repeat around. (15)
4-13. Sc around. (15)
14. [Sc, Sc2tog] around. (10)
15. Sc2tog around. (5)
Sew all parts together before stuffing.

Wings: [Main color] Make 2
1. Ch 5, turn.
2-4. Sc across, ch 1, turn. (4)
5. [Sc2 tog] 2x, ch 1, turn. (2)
6. Sc2tog, ch 1, turn. (1)
7. Sc, fasten off.

Tail: [Main color] Make 1
1. Ch 5, turn.
2-4. Sc across, ch 1, turn. (4)
5. Sc, 2 Sc in next 2 st, Sc. Fasten off.

Eyes: [Second color] Make 2
Make a 5-Sc ring in preferred method. Fasten off.
Sew buttons so they look like eyes.

Beak: [Second color] Make 1
1. Ch 3, turn.
2. Sc across, ch 1, turn.
3. Sc across, fasten off.

Feet: [Second color] Pick up at round 3 in front of body.
1. Insert hook for first foot and pull up a loop, slst.
2. Work 2 Sc into same st, slst into same st.
3. Insert hook about 3 sts to the right and pul up a loop.
4. Repeat row 2.

Assembly:
Weave in all ends. Sew eyes and beak to face. Sew wings and tail onto body. Stuff body. Weave yarn end through last 5 stitches and pull tight. Weave in end.
